If you’ve been wondering what happened to Thursdays open mic night at the Strand, you’re not alone. With the pub closed for the time being, you’ll find the effervescent Flynn and guests just 30 seconds down the road at Q-Bar. The location may be different, but the rules of the game are the same, and you’ll doubtless find the same faces.

jaM hEaD is a great way to start Thursday Nights.....LIVE MUSIC & CHEAP DRINKS QUALITY OPEN-MIC NIGHT - If you know someone who plays Guitar/Sings or just messes about on Rock Band and reckons they can play live - then get them down to jaM hEaD and they'll get the opportunity to prove it - we have regular local musicians playing every week too ;O) DRINKS PROMO - In Short, most things anyone wants to drink are £1.50.
