CARIBOU – Swim

I’ve got hold of an early leak of Caribou’s new album, ‘Swim’. I think it’s being released mid-April.

You may have heard the single ‘Odessa’- an incredible, funky, warped, vocal track- disco basslines, krautrock synths and rave piano all filtered through his trademark sunny haze. It’s definitely a progression from the sound he honed on his last album, ‘Andorra’.

It’s very exciting- his best album yet, and up there with Four Tet’s in terms of dance(y) albums of the year. It’s pretty rave. In both senses.
