Glade Festival ticket holders offered Big Chill ticket swap scheme
May 13, 2010 > News
Glade Festival announced that they have unfortunately cancelled their event this year, due to what organisers
have called an ‘unexpected forced increase in security and police costs as well as a level of advanced ticket sales
below expectations’.
Any festival goers who purchased full price Glade Festival tickets via Ticketline for £135, can contact Ticketline
requesting to swap their Glade ticket for an Adult Weekend Big Chill ticket. Glade ticket holders will be charged an
additional transaction fee of £7 per ticket swapped, meaning that they will get a Big Chill ticket which would have
cost them £155 + £7 booking fee for £135 + £7 booking fee instead, saving them £20.
With this year’s Big Chill Festival line-up including the likes of Massive Attack, M.I.A., Kelis, Kruder & Dorfmeister,
Plan B, Roots Manuva, Layo and Bushwacka!, Magnetic Man, High Contrast, Skream and Benga there is a
great dance line-up that will appeal to all Glade Festival lovers as well as much more. The Big Chill is one of the
longest standing festivals in the UK and embarks on its 16th year with a superb combination of great music
programming, arts, film, relaxation and an undeniably carnival experience. With Spencer Tunick calling on all Big
Chillers to disrobe in the name of art, Glade Chillers will be given a first hand experience of all that is The Big Chill.
