Born from the collaboration of members of an old Cheltenham favourite, ‘nham magazine, and the Cheltenham Borough Council, with the combined aim of raising the profile of our town’s growing music scene, ‘nham music endeavours to capture and cover everything that is live music in association with our fair town.
This humble first issue is a seed from which we hope, with the help of all followers of local music; be they musicians, gig-goers, promoters, venues or anyone remotely interested in keeping Cheltenham vibrant, a little stem may sprout, grow and blossom in support of the scene.
The publication, along with accompanying website, is an open platform on which we want anyone and everyone to be able to make their mark.

For our first main feature we made it the duty of one of the town’s most prolific music journalists, Dan Hill, to tell the story of how our scene came about. In Sweet Home Cheltenham Spa he reminds us of some of the successful talent that Cheltenham has spawned over the years –some of whom current and future generations will hope to emulate.
