Raffertie to play Motion
Following on from their massive NYE event, Bugged Out start the new year with a great line-up for their first Bristol party of 2010. Italian fidgets Crookers headline (of ‘Day and Night’ fame) with support from Hot Chip collaborator Jesse Rose, quiff-wearing raver Raffertie, the excellent Joy Orbsion and Bristol’s very own 2-step prince, Julio Bashmore. Saturday 20th, Motion, tickets are £12.
Theo Parrish makes his Bristol debut later this month. The Detroit house legend will be headlining at Motion on Saturday 27h February as part of the Red Bull Music Academy project in conjunction with Bristol promoters Futureboogie. It’s a strong line-up that also includes the brilliant King Midas Sound and an absolute bargain at just £6.
MonkeyJam moves House

After nearly 18 months of successful and highly entertaining Monkey jamming at the Conservatory on Winchcombe Street, MonkeyJam is packing its van and moving on.
Open Mic fans will find the weekly favourite two minutes down the road at Slak Bar on Bath St. Upgrades include a stage, moody lighting and a late bar. Get yourselves along there ‘nham folk!
